Step 1: Install the HP Deskjet Printer Driver

  8. Under HP Deskjet Printers, select the appropriate alternate driver for the product (listed in the table in the previous step), and then click Next.

    note:
    The alternate HP Deskjet driver for your item might not be currently set up on your computer system, however it is offered through Windows Update. Click the Windows Update button to select additional print motorists. Select the alternate chauffeur for your product, and then click Next.   1. From the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (), right-click Computer system, then click Manage. The Computer system Management window opens.
  2. Click Device Supervisor in the left pane of the Computer Management window under System Tools. A list of installed gadgets display screens in the best pane of the Computer Management window.
  3. Right-click your product in the Other gadgets list, then click Update HP Deskjet driver Software. A dialog box opens to find the HP Deskjet driver software.
  4. Click Browse my computer for HP Deskjet driver software.
  5. Click Let me select from a list of device HP Deskjet drivers on my computer, and then click Next. The Include HP Deskjet Printer Wizard opens.
  6. Under Maker in the Install the HP Deskjet printer driver window, click HP.
  7. Under HP Deskjet Printers, choose the alternate motorist for the item (noted in the table in the step to Determine the appropriate compatible driver), and then click Next. An Update HP Deskjet driver Warning window opens.
  8. Click Yes to continue the driver setup.
